SPEAKER BIO:

Dr. Stephen Poteet graduated with a Ph.D. in economics from the University of South Florida. He recently published a paper regarding U.S. health insurance in Applied Health Economics and Health Policy. He has worked with large amounts of data using a number of different statistical models. He has written literature reviews, reports, and academic articles, and has been able to present my original research at the Euroqol Third Academy Meeting, the 7th Meeting of the International Academy of Health Preference Research Glasgow, and the 8th Meeting of the International Academy of Health Preference Research. This has allowed him to expand my professional and technical communication skills and to learn from some of the leaders in the health economics field. He was also a Research Assistant at the Center for Urban Transportation Research, where he enjoyed working as the head assessor for the SHRP2 Naturalistic Driving Study, and project lead for the 2013 Florida Rider Training report. These experiences have allowed him to expand his knowledge and gain a diverse perspective.
