Semper Foods was founded in 2018 by three friends, and business partners, each offering extensive knowledge and understanding of the food solutions industry and together bringing over 40 years of combined experience to the table. The founders decided on the name, Semper Foods, by encompassing Semper, the Latin word for “always,” as derived from the United States Marine Corps motto ‘Semper Fidelis, meaning ‘always faithful.’ One of our founding partners, Eric Ouellette, proudly and honorably served in the United States Marine Corps from 2004 to 2008 including a tour of duty in Iraq (Operation Iraqi Freedom) and spent 2 years stationed overseas in Okinawa, Japan. These valuable lessons and disciplines learned while serving in the military have been instilled in operating and growing our organization daily.
Semper Foods is now an industry-leading foodservice distributor and co-packer specializing in both commodity and further processed, value-added, protein solutions to customers worldwide. We provide distribution capabilities to every state in the lower 48 based on a one pallet minimum, through strategically placed warehouses, and internationally through our relationships with our freight forwarding partners.
